Court times: Court is held every Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm. The Court Clerk is generally available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Court information: Most of the vehicle and traffic matters are based on tickets issued by the New York State Police. The Town Attorney prosecutes the speeding and traffic tickets that were issued by the New York State Troopers. The Ravena Village Court does not accept plea negotiations or reductions by mail for tickets issued by the New York State Police.
General information: The Village of Ravena is located with the Town of Coeymans New York. Coeymans is one of the southern most towns in Albany County. On the NYS Thruway, the Village of Ravena occupies a very small section and the Village is visible as you travel on I87 north and south. Many residents are employed at the Lafarge Cement Plant which is visible from the NYS Thruway. The Coxsackie Correctional Facility and Greene County Correction Facility are located a couple of miles south of the village.
