Court times: Court is held every Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. The Court Clerk is generally available Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday 8:30 a.m. - Noon.
Court information: This Court hears vehicle and traffic matters based on tickets issued by the New York State Police, the Town of Coeymans Police Officers and the Albany County Sheriffs. The Town Attorney prosecutes the speeding and traffic tickets that were issued by the New York State Troopers. The Coeymans Town Court does not accept plea negotiations or reductions by mail for tickets issued by the New York State Police.
General information: Coeymans New York is one of the southern most towns in Albany County. On the NYS Thruway, Coeymans is North of New Baltimore ( Greene County) and just south of the Town of Bethlehem. Within the Town of Coeymans is the Village of Ravena. Many residents are employed at the Lafarge Cement Plant which is visible from the NYS Thruway.
