Court hours: Vehicle and Traffic matters are generally scheduled for Monday and Thursday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. The Court Clerks are usually available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. (with shortened hours in the summer months).
Court information: The Rotterdam Town Court is located in the Joseph S. Dominelli Public Safety Building with the Rotterdam Police Department. The Court is across from the soccer fields and adjacent to the Jefferson Elementary School.
This Court hears vehicle and traffic matters based on tickets issued by the New York State Police, the Rotterdam Police Officers and the Schenectady County Sheriffs. The Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office prosecutes the speeding and traffic tickets that were issued by the New York State Troopers and the Rotterdam Police Officers.
